2026 — New design + gender removed from face
A "Next-Generation My Number Card" will be introduced in 2026. The card design will be significantly refreshed, with gender removed from the card face. Validity is unified to 10 years, and digital certificate validity matches the card.
The next-gen card will have the My Number Insurance Card function built in. No separate registration needed — simply obtaining the card will enable health insurance use.
